Today is the first day of school back from break and I have mixed emotions about coming back.
Im excited, anxious, and sad at the same time. Im really excited to see my friends but I'm also sad because I have to wake uo at 6:30 everyday. It is going to take some time for me to get used to it since Ive been waking up at 1 pm everyday. But speaking about today in class all we did was talk about the robotics game and what it is.

We learned how to make a website from google. We first had to log in to our student email then we had to go our google and make a new folder.

Today is wednesday so you have a Wednesday challenge to do. First Dr.Neat told us what was the challenge,
it was to take a cardboard box and cut it exactly 1 foot by 1 foot. Then he told us our groups which only
consisted of 2 people instead of 4. So my group to the box and attempted to cut it. I over thought and messesd
up the whole entire Wednesday Challenge. We didnt have enough time to create another one so we didnt turn one in.

We didnt have school on monday so today is our first day back. We learened more about Google Sites but I am mostly
putting my attention on the html ideas. We made subtitles and link with our websites.

Today is Wednesday so we had another Challenge. The challenge was to make a device out of some material to
collect 3 golf balls in a paper bag and transport it to another paper bag. We ended up making a device that is
similar to the things you use to dip your egg into paint on Easter. We would frop the device down and put we put the egg on
top of it. We did all that to come in first which is a better place then other challenges.

Today we had something for the people that didint choose the google sites. The "HTML'rs" We learned how to make
a home screen for our webiste. At the end of the day we had a home page with 2 different links that go to our
Semester 2 and 1 index's.

Today we just chilled and updated our websites since Dr. Neat is grading our Websites this weekend. I had to
catch up with my daily entries.

Today we had to work on out websites and trying to get them live. I had some troubles getting it
live because there was a problem with my index's and the link would'nt work.

All day today I had to get some help from a lot of veterans in the class. Aaron was trying to help
me with my semester 2 index and my semester 1 index to go live. We could'nt get the index's to go
live and it was a real problem that I know that I had to get fixed.

Today is Wednesday so we had a Wednesday Challenge. Today we had a challenge which was dedicated to the
Robotics Team. We had to make a little toy or something for the 589 team could have, our group had the
idea to make a litte things with two hands and you would slap it around, it would have to plates of plastic
or something, then those would be on a stick that you can hold on to and make some noise.

Today I had to get my file zilla to work because I needed to wokr on my car that was assigned to us about
a week ago. I had no idea what I needed to work so i went to the master of html, Kirk. He helped me all day
just to get my website live to the world where everyone can see it. So after the whole period he got it to work
and all the stress went away just to get my website live.

Today is Wednesday so we have another WC. The challenge was to make a design on the winners toy from last week.
Our idea was to put 4 wings on one straw and just put a lot of tape on it to make it stay. It took a while to cut

I needed to work on my car because I was behind by a lot. But at the end of the day I finshed the bottom base of the
car and found out what tire design which was really good, and I glued one part of the tire on the car so I need to
get the finished by Monday. Monday would be the last day I can work on my car so I need to take it home.

Today we had to work on our cars since they are due on monday. But I had ro catch up on my website instead because
they are going to be graded this weekend. Considering that I'm working on my website I am going to have to take my
car home and work on it there over the weekend
DESCRIPTION OF MY FIRST CAR:
I had the idea of doing a real simple desing becuase I did not want to overwelm myself on trying to make a
really complicated car that was going to take forever and might not even get it done. I am having 6 wheels
on each side 2 sets of three, 3 in the front and 3 in the back. I havent be able to work on it since I've had to
work on my webiste so much.

Today we had to work on my car because I had to catch up on it. I was really nervous because I don't know if
I'll be dont by tomorrow which is the day of the race. I has to take my own car to finish it at home.

Well today I got some good news for the cars. Dr.Neat gave the car due date on Thursday instead of tueday.
Since we have until tuesday I had a lot more time to finish and my car and make it work at least. I had to take
my car again to my house and work on it.

Today we had another Wednsday Challenge and our class had to make a fidget toy. Dr.Neat read something that you cant have flying
things the arena. In that case we had to make another toy. Maddie told Dr.Neat her idea for the toy, she proposed to do a fidget toy.
My group at an idea to put a small marble in a mesh bag so you can use your thumbs to push back and forth the marbel. Sadly we didnt win
and I forgot who did.

Today was the day that I could test my cat for the first time. After all that hard work and the back 2 tires
were to big. So I had to go to plan B. I had 10 minutes left to make a brand new car that can at least go
5 ft. I took a straw, cut out 8 sketch tires and put them threw the straw and then I tested it. It suprisingly
got 7 ft, I dont know how.

Today we had the Robotics Team come up in front and discuss what they have accomplished from last friday until
now. They made a KAD and a model for what is was going to look like. It was pretty cool.

Last weekend was a really nice one since we got monday off. But the only bad thing for today was that we had to talk about grades
and what happened. I got a 6.6 out of 10 on my html website. I think most of the that 6.5 grade was that I could'nt get my forms and
pictures to go live. But I have been catching up and I think my website will improve in the next grading

Like every friday we have the robotics team come out and present what they have worked on from the past week. The robot looks
really good, it's blue and I'm pretty sure it has a 589 in black
First Car Race:
It did'nt go as well as I planned because the tires were to big. So used a straw and cardboared to make a car that
can atleast get 2 ft. I put 7 cardboard tires on a straw so it would just roll down the ramp to get score since I
needed one.

In the first part of the period the Robotics team cam up to the class and talked again. It was sort of a repeat
of Friday which was ok. We went into the shop and watched teh robotic collect teh gears and fuel balls and distribute
them into the boilers

Today was Wednesday and that means we have another WC. Todays challenge is similar to the E and square challenge.
This time we had to make the letter A. Well today we only did the desing part where we just make sketch up
version of it. We are making a design for other people and getting someone elses A that they made a design for. Here

Today was another day to work on our A from yesterday but we were supposed to fabricate it. Me and my
Elisabeth waited to get our sketch up so we can start cutting it out. We spent the whole entire
perioed trying to get the exact measurements. We turned ours in knowing that we had a good chance at winning.

Like every friday we talk about the robotics team and what they have accomplished in the last week. We saw the
robot and what it does, the functions and how it workds. Then we saw someone draw it and put the yellow fuel balls
into the boiler, and the gear.After that we went back into the classroom and saw the A results. We sadly ended up
placing 9th. I was kind of sad proud of the same time. We oversized .0923 inches which was pretty good.

Monday funday, not really. Today all we did was talk about the new recuired link we needed to have for the next grading
period. Then we took the hole period to work on our websites. But today was the first time I drived for the classroom.

Today we took the hole entire period to woek on out webistes since we are trying to get 13 F's down to 0.
Dr.Neat want's it to get down to 0 by the end of the grading period this weekend. I had some link porblems with
the images and a wednesday challenge form from 2 weeks ago. I am all cought up with my website so I feel like
I am going to get a good grade on my website this week

Today we had another WC considering that it is Wednesday. The challenge we had was to make a tail boat,
its a type of desing hat rockwt use. We had to make three transitions on the tail boat. We got a litle packet that
helped us wiht the math. By the end of the period we had out prototype which was reallt simple. The WC Form is coming

We had another day to work on our boat tails. The hole entire period we were wokring on it and tryingto figure it out
what is was gonna look like from the prototype. So by the end of the period we had a rally bad, terrible, and
sloppy boat tail that we turned in.I am going to be honest, I dont think that we are going to win this challenge.

Today we had the Robotics team come into the classroom and tell us whats been happening with everything.
After all that we had the day to work on our websites or our new cars. I decided to work on my website so I
can be kept up with everything. I did that the whole entire period.

Today is monday and was pretty chill. Mr.Miller came up to the front of the classroom and talked about all
the grades. Instead of having the F's on the board to go down, the number when up by 6. So after the lexure
we had the whole entire period to try and catch up and have that nu,ber of F's to go down.

At the beggining of the period we had Mr.Miller talk about google sites, that only took 15 minutes of the period. The
rest of the time, I worked on my first car to make down the ramp 100 inches. It took me 3 tries to complete it and
go on to make the new car.

Today is Wednesday so we have another WC. This is a WC that if we win we get an automatic A in the class. The WC we had
is for having a pringle chip not being cracked when being delivered to the school. The first we had just had to
make a design for the pringle chip.

We had another day to work on the WC. Today was the last day to work on the design. We finished the design and everything

Today we are makinf the package that the pringle chip is going to be in. We are getting another groups

Elisabeth wasnt here today so I had to wrok on the Wednesday challegne challenge by myself. I had to glue

Today was the last day to work on the package before stamping it and everything. It was pretty easy since
everything was glued and all we had to do was put the cotton balls, put the pringle inside, and tape the top on

At the beggining of the period Dr.Neat showed us a video about sky cranes. Then he gave us the news that the
falkon robotics team were in ventura and passed inspection.
Potato Chip Wednesday Challenge Update:
The first day of the challenge, I was partnered with Elisabeth and we just went with her design which was
just to have a small box wiht a layer of cotton balls on the bottom, put the chip in, and then put the last
layer of coton balls on top of the chip. The second day was the day where we started to build the design we got from
another group in the class. They had a really similar idea to ours, it was to have a small box, cotton balls on the
bottom, put the chip in, then put the last layer of cotton balls on top. That day we made the pieces for the box
and glued one side to it. The next day I glued the rest of the sides on and let it dry. Then the last day we put the
final touches to the box, we put everything in and taped the top on, then handed it to Sam.

Today was a minimum day m=having the period times really short. The whole entire period we watched the robotics team
compete at the Robotics Competition.
Sprign Break:
The whole entire spring break, I stayed in my house and played video games, watched Netflix, and
talked to my friend. There was only one day where I went outside of my house was when I went to
montrose with a couple of my friends. I stayed there for a couple of hours then cam back to my house.

Toady we had the robotics team come to the front of the class talked about the competition and that took most

weekend. They won a couple of awards and qualified for nationals in Houston, Texas. After we just worked on our websites
until the period was over.

Our Lessons Learned from the Potato Chip Challenge:
From all the time we spent on this challenge, I have learned a lot things from it.
One of the lessong I learned was to think out of the box. For example, I thought out of the box
by instead of having one chip I had the idea of having multiple chips.

This whole entire week was BLOC schedule because the juniors had to do CASP testing except Friday.
With that being said we worked on our websites most of the time just to kill time. At the time im typing this
we havent done anything else, maybe ill be dead, maybe the world may end, maybe I'll find $20 dollars.

Today we started to work on our skateboards, well the sketch-up at least. For me, I am not really good
at making sketch ups of something in front of me. It took me a while to get all the measurements for the
skateboard we were supposed to sketch up.

Wednesday is usually a day where we do a Wednesday Challenge, but since we were making our sketch up for the
skateboard we worked on that. Today was not BLOCK schedule so it was a regular day, so we only had 1 hour to
work on our sketch up.

This whole entire week was BLOCK schedule but not today. Today was another day of working on our sketch up,
I was a bit behind so its taking me longer to make it. I was really confused on actually making skateboard,

Another day to work on our sketch was today, we had a 2 hour period to work on it. I was beggining to
get how to make the skatboard so I ended up finishing one of the skateboards that Dr.Neat gave us.

Usually on BLOCK schedule we have Friday as regular schedule but since we had Monday as regular, today was BLOCK
schedule. I started to take measurements on both of the skateboards so I can make my own skateboard design. I
am combining both of the skateboards together, measurement wise.

Monday we had off so that was nice, but today was a really chill day. At the beggining of the period the Robtics
Team came up to the front of the class and talk about Nationals in Houston. For the rest of the period we worked on websites
and sketch ups.

Today is Wednesday so that was a plus. The whole entire period we worked more and more on our skatboard sketch-up.
I am almost done with it so I am really close to printing the skateboard, then I can start taping the pieces together

Today is Friday which I am really excited aboout because im going to the beach on Saturday. The whole entire period
we worked on our websites to try and carch up on entrees and that exactly what I did. I put a weeks worth of
entrees onto my Website.

At the beggining of the period Mr. Miller showed us our current grade on our website so that was good.
After that I finally finished my skateboard sketch up which is a plus. I tried printing it but I already had
4 people in front of me for printing. We only had about 5 min left so I was just going to print it up
tomorrow.

Today I was first in line for printing my skateboard sketch up so can start cutting the extra
paper that I dont need. That took me about 10 min to cut out. Then I took some tape and taped all
of the pieces togther. After that I just worked on my website.

Wednesday is always a WC which I was relly excited for since I havent done one in a really long time. This challenge
was very simple, we had to design a paper airplane that was oing to reach the farthest distance. I was partners
with Mason Allen. The whole entire time we tried to think outside the box and think of something differnt. At the

Today is the first day that I can start making my skatboard. The first thing I had to do was cut out
all the cardbaord pieces that I needed to make it. I had to cut out 3 pieces going horizontal to the grain

didn't up winning the challenge. Then we moved onto putting the cardbaord together.I did that until the end of

to work on my website. I caught up on it so I can get a good grade on the next grading period. After that I worked

At the beggining of the period I put in my entrees in for my website, that took about 5 minutes. Then I moved onto
working on my skateboard. I had to draw a straight line in the middle of the skateboard and draw an outline of where
the trucks were going to be on the skateboard. I didn't have enough time to drill the holes. I decided to do it
tomorrow.

Today I worked on my website and my skatebaord. First I put my entree in for my website and finished a Wednesday challenge
Form that I needed for my website. Then I started to work on my skateboard. I got to use one of the machines
to drill 8 holes in my skateboard for the trucks. Tomorrow I'm putting the trucks on.
